Native to Tropical Africa, the Spider plant is an extremely hardy and low maintenance plant that can tolerate low light levels. They were a popular houseplant during the Victorian era, and have been highlighted by NASA as an air purifier. Spider plants often produce tiny white flowers on the ends of long stems, which will grow into little spider plant babies, called “pups,” which can be placed into soil and grown into more plants! This variety is named for it's unique curling leaves.
