Native to Taiwan, the Schefflera aboricola, also known as the dwarf umbrella tree, is a hardy, low maintenance plant that thrives in bright, non-direct light but can tolerate lower light levels. Schefflera are popular as an easy to care for and easy to grow bonsai. Its compact growth pattern makes it the perfect plant for corners or other tight spaces, and it can be pruned back as needed.
