Native to South America, the Philodendron is a hardy, low maintenance house plant that thrives in bright, non-direct light. In nature, the Burle Marx variety grows up trees and on other surfaces as a vine, and can be trained to grow up a support, as a trailing plant, or be pruned to stay more compact. Its shiny leaves are narrow and heart-shaped, and smaller than some other philodendron varieties. This variety is named after Roberto Burle Marx, the famous Brazilian modernist landscape architect.
Plant height approximately 2'
Care Guidelines:
Sunlight - Thrives in bright, non-direct light
Watering - Allow top few inches of soil to dry between watering
- While the diameter of the plant’s pot (10") is consistent, the overall height and width will vary from plant to plant and depends on nature itself.
- All plants are sold in a plastic grower’s pot. They do not include a decorative pot.
