Native to South America, Anthurium are a hardy, low maintenance plant that love bright, non-direct light, but will tolerate lower light levels. Also known as the Flamingo flower or painter’s palette, these plants are known for their waxy, heart-shaped flowers that come in a variety of colours. These flowers are very long-lasting and the plant will continue to bloom year-round without any fuss! Like air plants, Anthurium are epiphytes – meaning that in nature they grow on the bark of trees or even on rocks, getting their nutrients and moisture from the air.
