Native to South American rainforests, this Pilea is a low-growing, trailing plant that does best in bright non-direct light. They love high humidity, and should be kept relatively moist but never be allowed to sit in water for too long. Sometimes called the Silver Sparkle Pilea or Baby’s Tears, it has tiny silvery leaves that grow on long pinkish-red stems and trail downwards as they grow. They are a great dainty hanging plant for small but bright spaces.
