Also known as the wax plant or porcelain flower, this plant is native to Eastern Asia and Australia. This variety has thick, waxy foliage that emerges as green leaves with bright pink stems and centres that will slowly fade to a white or cream colour. It is a trailing plant that is perfect for hanging baskets, and will also climb if planted with a trellis or stake. They are low maintenance, and thrive in bright light and are drought tolerant. With the right conditions, these plants can flower with round clusters of tiny, star-shaped pink blooms that give off a sweet, chocolatey scent.
