Native to South America, the Anthurium Hookeri, or Birdsnest Anthurium is a hardy plant that thrives in non-direct light. Its large leaves give it a prehistoric jungle look that make  a striking addition to any indoor space. Like air plants, Anthurium are epiphytes – meaning that in nature they grow on the bark of trees or even on rocks, and get their nutrients and moisture from the air.
